What a complex world of definitions and perspectives. I find it hard to navigate the wording in order to not offend anyone. 

There is such a broad range of history, experiences and ideologies around these subjects that I feel I barely scratch the surface and continues learning is desired to be well informed. Also cultural context, time and location are important aspects to consider. 

In order to write about these subject in a condens, yet inclusive and relevant way in this research is a learning experience.  

A sample test I did for my research, which is by no means a statistically correct representation of the situation in the Netherlands which would need further researching, is the representation in portfolios of the galleries that represent the artists I interviewed according to their website.
